Sabruna is a self-taught artist who has always been driven by a passion for innovation, entrepreneurship and the transformative power of art. With a background in business engineering and degrees from the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Rennes School of Business, her early career experiences sparked a deep interest in human development. This revelation ignited her desire to merge her expertise with her creative instincts, leading her to explore uncharted artistic territories.
In 2016, Sabruna embarked on a journey to explore the dynamics of women’s self-confidence. Simultaneously, she immersed herself in various forms of artistic expression, including documentary filmmaking, painting, and sculpture. While her films conveyed important insights, they didn’t fully capture her ambition to inspire change. To deepen her impact, she pursued further training at the Geneva Coaching Institute and the Annecy Alpes School of Art, where she honed innovative methods for fostering leadership and creativity as tools for building self-confidence.
The Revelation of Wine as Art
Sabruna’s artistic journey took a profound turn when she realized that conventional mediums like watercolor couldn’t fully convey the intensity she sought. After experimenting with different substances, she envisioned using wine as her artistic medium—a choice that felt both natural and groundbreaking.
The deep, rich hues of wine spoke to her creative spirit, and the complexity of working with this living material became a source of inspiration.
The Art of Wine: A Living Medium
Wine, with its rich history and deep connection to the earth, became more than just a medium for Sabruna—it became a muse. In mastering the intricate techniques required to paint with wine, she discovered a way to channel the emotions, stories, and time-honored traditions that wine represents.
Through her work, Sabruna explores the intricacies of human nature, the fluidity of time, and our ever-evolving relationship with the natural world.
